What is Composite Bonding?

A pain free procedure that bonds tooth coloured resin to the outer surface of the tooth improving it’s appearance.

How does Composite Bonding work?

Your dentist will colour match the bonding resin to the natural shade of your teeth. However, most of our clients will do some simple home tooth whitening to brighten the natural shade of the teeth before the bonding is applied. There needs to be 2-3 weeks between when the patient stops whitening and the bonding appointment to ensure the best result.

The dentist will then carefully apply the composite to the teeth. The composite is shaped and used to smooth surfaces and cover imperfections for a natural result.
