Cosmetic Bonding

What is Cosmetic Bonding?

Cosmetic bonding is a procedure where a tooth coloured resin material is bonded to the tooth.

It is a cheaper alternative to Veneers with similar results. The procedure can be done in one sitting and tends to be pain-free, so anaesthesia is often not required.

The latest materials and techniques are used to match the correct tooth shade. The colour, shape and size can be customized to suit each tooth.

Unlike Veneers, often the tooth does not need to be filed down, so there is no harm to the natural tooth.

What can it be used for?

Cosmetic Bonding can be used to treat damaged or discoloured teeth.

If your teeth are chipped, fractured, discoloured or simply decaying, this procedure may be a great solution.

It can also be used to improve the overall look of your smile.

How long does it last?

Cosmetic Bonding will not last as long as Veneers. However, with proper care you should be able to wear them up to 7 years successfully.

Taking proper care for them will extend the length of time they will last.Hard candy, ice cubes and similar substances that could potentially crack the material should be avoided.

How much does it cost?

The price depends on how many teeth are treated. Generally, you can expect to pay €200-€350 per tooth.
