Teeth Whitening

Here at Dental Options we offer patients two different whitening procedures:

  • At home tray bleaching – we make custom gum shields for the patient and give them special whitening gel to use. The patient then uses this gel at home for 6-9 days to produce the desired effect.
  • Enlighten teeth whitening – this uses a combination of at-home tray bleaching and in-office intensive chairside bleaching. It is considered the most predictable and effective tooth whitening procedure on the market today. For more information see www.enlightensmiles.com

Dental Options use Enlighten Teeth Whitening, which has been recognised as one of the most effective teeth whitening systems in the world, and can provide teeth up to 16 shades brighter. Enlighten is a hybrid treatment, which consists of a two-week treatment at home, followed by a one hour dental treatment which achieves predictable and effective results.

At Dental Options, your treatment will start with our dentists creating the moulds used to create your bespoke whitening trays. Once they have been manufactured by Enlighten’s libraries your next visit will show you how to wear them and apply the whitening Gel. After 14 days you will be invited in to the clinic for a one hour in-chair whitening session. Best of all, your results are guaranteed with a one-night top up every other month.
